This event is organised by the National Monitoring Support Initiative at UNEP-WCMC.

This webinar will provide an overview of the monitoring framework for the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and the related decisions adopted at the Conference of the Parties (COP) 15 and COP 16. It will also contribute to clarifying and deepening the understanding of various elements of the monitoring framework for the KMGBF identified through projects supporting countries on strengthening capacities for National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAP) monitoring. In addition, the webinar will outline different national approaches for monitoring national biodiversity commitments and plans to align with the indicators proposed by the monitoring framework for the KMGBF.
